At Linda Kim Studio, 

I offer artistic services that result in realistic, timeless pieces capturing not just a likeness but also the spirit behind the individual. 

Portraiture, to me, is the art of honoring individuality. 

Every collaboration is an exploration of what makes a subject beautifully human.

From a young age, art found me.

However, I entered the

University of Texas at Austin on a pre-med track

— one Life Drawing elective later —

I'd switched my major to Fine Art, earning a BFA.

That path eventually took a 2+ decade detour

winding its way into the corporate world, where I rose to

Vice President of Marketing

at AIG Retirement Services/Corebridge Financial, leading rebrands recognized with honors: MarCom Platinum, IFCA Best of Show, and PLANSPONSOR Best in Class.

A serious illness and recovery journey became my turning point — reshaping how I wanted to spend my time.

By 2025, I had returned fully to the easel, founding 

Linda Kim Studio to create custom portraits in acrylic and pencil.

Working in realism, I render my subjects so every wrinkle, wisp of hair, and glance carries intention. My process is collaborative by nature, guiding clients from first sketch to finished piece.
